Teach anything you may put on paper.

A printable lesson: one idea, their age, a picture they look at first, a check they must pass. The year opens the courses already waiting. Then you can turn a talk, a chapter, or words you wrote into a lesson of your own.

You do not invent a curriculum on night one. Leonardo’s notebooks, a civic year, Western civ from the Greeks to 2000 — those are already written.

You pick five or eighteen. Younger chairs get more lessons, shorter ones, a picture they can mark. The older chair gets a longer step and the same bar: can you do it.

They look before they read.

Every lesson opens on a grey picture that is a question, not a poster. Then a short body, a check they must pass, mixed practice, and a pack you can print.

The return

It comes back. That is the point.

One day, three, seven, twenty-one. Not a streak. The paper is what they bring to a kitchen, a backpack, or a week with no wifi.

Will this source work?

What you can feed it

If you may copy and adapt the words, Lumen can make a lesson. Public domain, Creative Commons Attribution, CC0, or something you wrote. ShareAlike, no-derivatives, and “for non-commercial use only” will not do — a lesson is a derivative.

A talk

A lecture marked for adaptation. Blacksmithing, birds, a historian who released the words. Paste the transcript. Set the age.

A chapter

A public-domain book, a CC BY textbook, a page you already have the right to use. One chapter becomes a lesson. A book becomes a year.

Words you hold

Your notes. A grandparent’s story typed up. A museum walk you wrote down. A recipe with a history. If you may adapt it, Lumen can teach it.

A trip

The canal, the hostel, the ceiling. Write what they saw. The lesson is the idea, not the photograph. The photograph can stay in the album.
